Iv been working on a knife with Jase at Thompson Knives & Utility for the last 12 months to come up with a knife that can withstand the punishment of being an all round knife in the elements of the harshest environment in Australia. Cape York. The hand crafted WR Bush knife is what we've come out the other end with and Im very proud of it.
 
I can honestly say its so much better than the 4 big name knives Iv tested over the past 13 years in Cape York. 
 
The blade is premium stainless steel from Sweden with exceptional  corrossion resistence and a hollow grind.
The handle is Black G10 with a sandblast textured finish. G10 is a hard, dense, stable and wear resistant composite material made from layers of glass fiber laminated together with resin. Iv chosen G10 over timber for its durability.
At the end of the G10 handle is a lanyard option to be run through a stainless steel lanyard pin.
The knife is housed in a Kydex and Leather Sheath with a slimline Ulticlip which I find perfect for attaching it to my belt or running it through the leather band to wear the knife / sheath horizontal.
 
I know you guys will love it and get a lifetime of use out of it. Hopefully one day passing it on to your grandchildren.
